Our Beginning
Brian Larsen began his career in aviation over 40 years ago when he served with the US Marines and earned his Naval Aviator Wings. As a USMC pilot trained in both fixed wing and helicopters he was a Squadron Maintenance Officer and Squadron Functional Test Pilot. He served in both active duty and reserves for 20 years. He has also worked as a Contract Negotiator with the Missile Systems Division of Texas Instruments. His career also took him to a Sales Management position for corporate jet pilot traing at Simuflite International in Dallas, Texas. In addition he worked as a Marketing Manager for Smiths Industries (now GE) Data Acquisition Systems for Health and Monitoring of Aircraft Systems.
In 1993 Brian began working in the excess material market and in 1998 he founded Close Air Support. He holds a B.S. degree from Michigan State University and an M.S. from University of Southern California.
